On Friday the 3rd of June 2016, the 6th classes (Mr Mangan’s & Ms. Hayes’s) went to Baltinglass for their school trip. The bus journey took approximately an hour and it was rather loud but that was very understandable as everyone was so excited. The classes were sorted into groups and each group was taken away to a different activity. At 13:00 everyone was brought up to the cafeteria and ate, and then went off to a different activity. The activities included Archery, Kayaking, and Abseiling, rock climbing and orienteering! At the end of the day, everyone was counted and boarded the bus, for another rather loud bus trip.

Marley’s Got Talent 2016
Marley’s Got Talent 2016 took place on April 28th in the school hall. MGT is a non-competitive full day event providing pupils from 3rd to 6th classes with an opportunity to showcase their talents in a relaxed and fun environment with pupils from junior infants to 2nd classes invited to watch and enjoy.
This year, an unprecenented amount of acts took to the stage and the whole school was entertained with some really great talent which included drama, dance, singing, instrumental music, gymnastics and magic. A huge effort was made by all involved and it truly was a day filled with fun and talent.
The Senior Infant classes walked to St. Enda’s Park and got a chance to visit the Nature Room and see the frogspawn and tadpoles. Everyone had a great time – take a look at the pictures from the day.
Well done to our quiz teams who took part in the South Dublin libraries Quiz.
We are delighted to announce that we have received our sixth flag for Global Citizenship – Litter and Waste from An Taisce.
