Eric Dempsey visited the school on Thursday the 28th of September. He gave a workshop to the 3rd and 4th classes.
He is one of Ireland’s leading bird experts, author of many books and team member of RTE’s Mooney Goes Wild show. The workshops were both entertaining and informative for pupils and teachers alike. He brought the world of birds alive through hands-on workshops that included looking at lots of feathers as well as some of the wonderful photos that Eric took himself. A great day was had by all. Our thanks to Fidelma Fagan and the local residence association who funded the visit.
Look at the wonderful Dublin supporters as they wear blue in support of the Dublin Men and Ladies Football teams.
Senior Infants love when the sun shines so that they can go outside to have PE . The fresh air makes everyone feel good and full of energy. Check out the football skills in the photos – AMAZING!!!
Senior Infants enjoyed their Nature Walk around the school today. Take a look at the surprising things we found – even some blackberries for our big break!!
We have been very busy since starting back in Senior Infants. We have been making new friends and learning lots of new and excited things. We are learning as we play during ‘Structured Play’ – the best part of the day, according to some of the children!!!
