Welcome to our School


  • Congratulations to our boys hurling team who were the winners in the Corn Uí Néill

final and to the girls camogie team who were narrowly defeated in the Corn Olly Quinlan final in Croke Park.

  • Congratulations to the two second classes who made their first Holy Communion.

  • Good luck to the boys soccer team who have also reached the final.


The Divine Word National School serves the parish of Marley Grange and its surrounding areas.  It is a mainstream, co-educational school catering for all pupils aged 4-12 (approximately).  The school fosters the overall development of the child in a caring and supportive environment and with the help of a well qualified and enthusiastic teaching staff ensures that pupils receive a unique degree of individual attention.  It is situated at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains between Marlay Park and the famous St Enda's Park and is close to many recreational and sporting clubs.
