Last Tuesday October 10th, Mr Timmons' 6th class went to the LIDL farm to fork experience. After a long bus drive, we arrived in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. We were met by a friendly woman named Roisín. Roisín brought us to meet two Angus beef cows named Neo and Oreo. After that, Roisín showed us some potatoes and we each got one! Then we all picked beetroot. We got to take the vegetables home. Then we got to go on a mini train. The train took us around the Leinster LIDL Distribution Centre. We were all given an activity sheet and we had to find lots of items. It was a really fun trip!
