International Lego Day:
We celebrated International Lego Day on 28th of January. We designed ourselves as Lego characters and then got creative with a Lego Challenge. Each group was given a board and lots of Lego to design and build whatever they liked in 10 minutes. This was a great test of our creativity and teamwork.

Chinese New Year:
We celebrated Chinese New Year by leaning all about Chinese culture and traditions. We even tried fortune cookies! We used the iPads to help us with our first ever project on China. We used paper to make chain link snakes as 2025 is the year of the snake.

Love Is In The Air:
We celebrated Valentine’s Day in our class by wearing our pink and red clothes, making Valentines cards and with one or two surprises!

3D Shapes:
In Maths we were learning all about 3D shapes. We used lots of different materials to create 3D houses in our groups.

Seomra Ríomhaire:
We have been spending some time in the Seomra Ríomhaire playing Hit The Button to help us with our Maths. We also started our next project and used the computers to help us with our research.
