The two Rang a Sé organised their annual cake sale. We raised much needed funds for the Irish Cancer Society and MND Ireland. For the first time we had the cake sale in the courtyard. Thankfully the weather stayed dry, although we were definitely worried for a while!!! The whole school community came together and bakes cakes and biscuits for us to sell. Every class visited the courtyard to get their fill of goodies, get their nails painted and try their hand at a few of the exciting games at each of the stalls. Some parents even stopped by at the end of the day to purchase some amazing large cakes that had been donated.
Throughout the week previous we sold raffle tickets at the school gates for our fantastic raffle. The prizes were amazing and were donated by very generous parents and businesses from the area. We are so grateful to everyone that made this cake sale such a success. We raised over €4000 and are delighted to hand this money over to our two very deserving charities.
