Senior Sports Day was held in Divine Word on Thursday 15th June 2023. The sun shone and we had an amazing day. Argentina came out on top but all teams made a huge effort and it was a close call in the end. We enjoyed events like Tug of War, Moonball, Dodgeball, Clothes and Mat Races and the Welly Throw! Thanks to the P.A. for providing us with fresh fruit at breaktime and tea and coffee for parents during the day. We finished the day with some of Tug of War competitions. 6th Class defeated the Staff and brought them to ground literally!
