The Aware Christmas 5K is back!

We're delighted to announce that the 18th annual Aware Christmas 5K is now open for registration! Grab your family, friends, colleagues (and your best Christmas jumper) and join the fun!

In-person event at Leopardstown Racecourse

The in-person event will take place this year at Leopardstown Racecourse on Saturday the 9th of December.

With festivities for all the family, hourly races for adults (over 16s), kids’ races and play area, live entertainment, festive food, and refreshments – this is a day for everyone!

This is a 5K at your own pace – running, jogging, walking – everyone will receive a participant’s medal. Our chipped and timed race will start at 9.30am, but if you’re less concerned about the exact time of your 5K, you can choose from hourly options thereafter. Please select what time you plan to take part when registering. Our fun 5Ks will start at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm.

We encourage everyone to add to the festivities with Christmas jumpers, accessories, and even elf outfits! So, dig out those runners, find your favourite festive attire, and register today!

If you can't attend in-person, why not take on the challenge virtually?

If you can’t attend in person, we’d love to see you take on the challenge virtually! Don’t forget to share your 5K on social media, tagging us, and let us know where in the country you're taking part. If you register before Tuesday, 5th December, we’ll post your medal out to you in advance, along with a tasty treat from Cadbury! Join us in the festive spirit of the event, no matter where you are!
