Active School Flag is an initiative to promote activity and wellbeing in schools. We are hoping to get our first ever 'Active Flag' this school year. We have an extremely active school, and everyone is fully engaged in all the activities we are undertaking. We have had members of the community promoting a variety of different sports like, Futsal, rugby, soccer and Gael Karate. We have participated in European Sports Day and run 1K a Day with our classes.
We are really looking forward to the months ahead with many more great activities, especially Active Schools Week and creating a new 'Active Walkway' around the school.
Our 'Active Committee', made up of students from 3rd-6th Class, have worked extremely hard to help organise various events and promote physical activity in our school!
