We all enjoyed a very busy MATHS WEEK . Junior infants to second class had a great time playing Maths games in the Library. Third to sixth classes were involved in a ‘Problem Solving Quiz’ . Some of the classes went on a Maths trail around the school. Ms. O’ Reilly wants to thank everyone for getting involved and making it a great week for all.

Eric Dempsey visited the school on Thursday the 28th of September. He gave a workshop to the 3rd and 4th classes.
He is one of Ireland’s leading bird experts, author of many books and team member of RTE’s Mooney Goes Wild show. The workshops were both entertaining and informative for pupils and teachers alike. He brought the world of birds alive through hands-on workshops that included looking at lots of feathers as well as some of the wonderful photos that Eric took himself. A great day was had by all. Our thanks to Fidelma Fagan and the local residence association who funded the visit.
