A successful week for the girls Gaelic football team with 3/3 wins.
The first match took place in bushy park where the girls got their first win.
The Divine Word side were intimidated by their opponent’s side but it didn’t stop the forward line from pushing several points past them.
The second match was only 24 hours later on the same playing field but that didn’t stop them from bringing home yet another win.
The third and final match was in S.t Enda’s park where the girls fought hard for the last win of the week.
Among the heroes of the week were Katie, Ciara and Roslyn. Over the three days the score line totaled double figures. Divine word congratulates everyone involved, It only uphill from now on!
A special thanks to Roslyn in Mr Reilly’s class for speaking with us this week.

Ms Murphy’s class have settled in and are making lots of friends. Here are a few photos…
On Monday 17th September the two first class went on a nature walk to St. Enda’s Park. We did bark rubbings and created pictures out of the autumnal leaves and other things.
Armed with pooters and clipboards, Ms O’Brien’s First Class, under the guidance of Ms. Hyland, go searching the nooks and crannies of the school grounds in pursuit of mini-beasts. All creatures were returned to their natural habitat after they were observed.
