Celebrating World Book Day, a little late, in first class with a cúpla focail thrown in for Seachtain na Gaeilge.
On Thursday 25th January our class visited the library to play Maths games set up by Ms O’Reilly to celebrate maths week. Each station was manned by a fifth class pupil. Each group got to experience four of the stations and had lots of fun using their Maths skills to win the games.
Thank you to all the grandparents who visited us today. We enjoyed playing bingo with you all, listening to your stories and looking at the photos and memorabilia that you brought in. Also, thank you to our parent representative Ms. Bailey, who directed grandparents to Room 12. We hope you all enjoyed your visit.
Many thanks to all who made our Grandparents Day such a huge success this year!
Every class had a fabulous time with their visitors. The children listened to stories, played games and showed their grandparents their classrooms before all grandparents were treated to a vintage tea party in the hall!
Here are some photos of the day.
