This year the Student Council decided that the classes would be asked to make their own Halloween costume. The standard was extremely high and we were disappointed we couldn’t get everyone a prize!! The hours of work that must of gone into making the costumes were evident. Take a look at the winners – amazing job everyone – Well Done!!
We all had great fun in Senior Infants dressing up for Halloween.
The two sixth classes held their annual cake sale on the 19th October. The two chosen charities this year were The Laura Lynn Foundation and Irish Autism Action. It was a roaring success and they raised over 2000 euro to be shared between these two worthy causes. Many thanks to all who baked and brought in cakes and raffle prizes. It was greatly appreciated. Thanks also to John our caretaker and Ms Nolan who were invaluable on the day. A massive well done to our sixth classes who put so much thought into their preparations and worked tirelessly all day. Check out our gallery for some snaps from the cake sale!
Ms Murphy’s Class created some fantastic clay pieces. Have a look.
