Newsletter June 2016

Divine Word School, Marley Grange

Dear Parents/Guardians                                                                                                   21st June 2016

As we approach the end of another school year, I would like to thank you all – parents, staff and children – for making this another happy and successful year in the Divine Word School.   2016 saw the completion of our new building and the official opening in January was a day in which the whole school community came together to celebrate the wonderful atmosphere and learning that goes on here in Divine Word.   I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the project and I think you will agree, we now have a wonderful new building which replaces the prefabs we had for many years.

Before the end of the school year is upon us, I would like to welcome back Ms Murphy and Ms Gallaher from their maternity leave and wish Ms Mullin and Ms McGrane all the very best as they commence their maternity leave. A big thank you to Mr Nolan who was covering for Ms Murphy’s class. I would also like to congratulate Ms Hayes who was recently appointed as a permanent teacher on the staff.  We also wish our SNAs Mrs Walsh and Mrs O’Connor the very best as they commence job sharing in the next school year.

As we come to the end of another fruitful and busy school year we would like to wish our two 6th classes the very best of luck as they move on to Secondary schools.

The school will close at 12 NOON on Tuesday June 28th for the summer holidays and will re-open on Wednesday August 31st at 8.50am (9.30am for NEW Junior Infants).
