The Student Council is made up of ten children from each of our 3rd to 6th Classes. These hardworking children meet at 8.30am each Wednesday morning, for a committee meeting with Ms Pigott and Mr Mangan. Each council member represents their class and their younger ‘buddy class’. They speak with their classes regularly and bring any ideas or issues to the weekly meetings.
The children must be elected to the Student Council by their peers. All children from 3rd to 6th class are welcome to put themselves forwards. They then prepare a speech and try to persude their classmates to vote for them. An election takes place in each class and the person with the most votes is elected to The Student Council!
