The Divine Word National School serves the parish of Marley Grange and its surrounding areas. It is a mainstream, co-educational school catering for all pupils aged 4-12 (approximately). The school fosters the overall development of the child in a caring and supportive environment and with the help of a well qualified and enthusiastic teaching staff ensures that pupils receive a unique degree of individual attention. It is situated at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains between Marlay Park and the famous St Enda’s Park and is close to many recreational and sporting clubs.

Code of Discipline

The school fosters an atmosphere characterised by respect for all. This is achieved by encouraging positive qualities such as tolerance, courtesy, respect for self and others, and a good relationship among the school community. To achieve our aims, a Code of Discipline has been drawn up in consultation with the parents, teachers and the Board of Management of the school. This also ensures we have a well ordered, positive and responsible atmosphere in the school.
